Administration Instructions

1. Stay well hydrated.  Drink plenty of fluids.

2. If you are currently taking medication for the treatment of diabetes that contains metformin (ex: Glucophage, Glucovance, Avandamet, Metaglip) contact  your primary care physician.  You must hold your medication that contains metformin for 48-hours following the procedure.  Prior to restarting your medication that contains metformin, you should have your renal function evaluated by your primary care physician.
